2024 Davinci resolve grab still greyed out

For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.. Hi, Double click on the node to select. use Option S (Alt S) to add a node after the current one. If its greyed out with the recycle logo.. you may have a GPU resource issue. To add to Rohit's point, DaVinci Resolve will continue to read non-official MP4 files from your recorder, camera or application. The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. Let's explain: I need to take a source clip into the source viewer, Jog/Dial to a specific frame in the clip, the I need to export this single frame as an image (TIFF /JPG / BMP or whatever) How can I do this in Resolve from the Edit Tab / Timeline ? Another way you could do it would be to park on the frame you want to freeze, grab a still (at source resolution), export it, bring that back in, and manually cut it into the timeline.
